Environment & Animal Society of Taiwan – is a non-profit, nongovernmental organization campaigning for improvements for animals, people, and the environment in Taiwan. We aim to address the roots of problems. Our research uncovers cruelties and injustices that society would otherwise would not be aware of. We also believe that effective change needs to happen at a legislative level as well as through awareness-raising and institutional education. We actively engage in relevant environmental issues. We also support freedom of government information and greater citizen participation in public policymaking in Taiwan.
Indonesia Ocean Justice Initiative (IOJI) – is an independent think tank and policy advocacy group established to promote ocean policies that adhere to principles of sustainable development. By carrying out four work streams (Enforcement Support, International Advocacy, Policy Reform and Access to Justice), IOJI expects improvements in policies by the government of Indonesia in those 4 aspects, and subsequently other countries.
Blue Ventures – is a science-led social venture that puts people first. We support coastal fisheries in remote and rural communities to rebuild fisheries, restore ocean life and improve the livelihoods of traditional fishing communities. Across more than a dozen countries, we’re partnering with traditional fishers and community-based organizations to design, scale, strengthen and sustain fisheries management and conservation at the community level. We bring partners together in networks to advocate for reform, and share tools and best practices to support fishing communities across the globe.
GRID-Arendal – is a non-profit environmental communications centre which transforms environmental data into innovative, science-based information products and provides capacity building services. We aim to inform and activate a global audience and motivate decision-makers to effect positive change. GRID-Arendal collaborates with the United Nations Environment Programme, regional organizations, national governments, and other strategic partners to create positive environmental outcomes and impact, particularly in developing countries.
